CCCC Training Policies
Effective December 13, 2006, the following training policies will be in effect for all Community Child Care Connection, Inc sponsored workshops and conferences.
- Pre-registration is required for all workshops.
- Registrations must be turned into the office by mail or walk-in at least 24 hours prior to the training date. No telephone registrations will be accepted.
- Registrations are on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the volume of providers being served, we are unable to reserve spots without receipt of registration and payment.
- Written confirmation of your registration will be mailed out within 2 business days. To ensure receipt prior to training, please register as early as possible.
- At times, the CCR&R staff reserves the right to limit the number of participants from a single childcare program in a workshop.
- All CCCC trainings must have a minimum of 10 participants registered 48 hours prior to the training or the training will be canceled and training coupons will be mailed out to affected providers.
- If a participant cancels at least 24 hours prior to the training, they will receive a training coupon in the amount of the canceled training with the exception of CPR, First Aid or Special Care. You will not receive a reimbursement if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled training.
- If a participant needs to cancel a CPR, First Aid or Special Care training, 5 days notice must be given to receive reimbursement. If a participant cancels before 5 days, you can request a full refund with either a training coupon or check.
- Training registration fees are not transferable to other trainings. If a participant fails to show up for a training session, the fee will not be reimbursed nor will a training coupon be issued.
- CCCC does not allow participants to simply “show up” to trainings in which they are not registered for. The training facilitator will strictly adhere to the class roster. Any participant that is not on the class roster will not be allowed admittance into the training. CCCC suggests that if you are in doubt of your registration status to contact Sally Linski at (800) 676-2805 ext. 8225 or email slinski@cccconnect.org.
- CCCC strongly encourages its professional presenters to begin classes on time. It will be at the presenter’s discretion if participants will be allowed admittance to the training after it begins. However, presenters will not be allowed to distribute certificates to any participant that arrives more than 30 minutes late.
- At the conclusion of the training, participants will receive a training certificate unless otherwise specified by the training coordinator.
- Every effort is made to ensure quality presenters. Any statement, fact or opinion expressed by the presenters are their own and do not necessarily reflect the philosophy or viewpoint of Community Child Care Connection, Inc.
For more information or clarification on these new policies please contact Sally Linski at 1-800-676-2805, ext. 8225
