Board of Directors
Community Child Care Connection, Inc. (CCCC) is a not-for-profit organization. CCCC is governed by a board of directors which is a policy setting body that bears legal responsibility for the organization. The purpose of the Board is to preserve the integrity of the trust; to set policy; and to support and promote the organization.
Individual member responsibilities, together with others, the individual Board Member is responsible for ensuring effective and fiscally sound programs and operations of the not-for-profit by providing personal expertise, leadership, advice and directions with full participation and willingness to compromise.
Ten Responsibilities of Boards
- Select, Support and Evaluate the Chief Administrator
- Review and Protect the Mission of the Organization
- Drive the Organization’s Planning Efforts
- Serve as a Fiduciary Representative of the Organization
- Ensure the Financial Solvency of the Organization
- Serve as a Spokesperson for the Organization
- valuate the Organization’s Programs
- Communicate to the Community
- In Internal Conflict, Serve as the Final Court of Appeals
- Self- Assess Periodically
