T.E.A.C.H.®

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Illinois can pay up to 80% of the cost of college tuition and books for early childhood practitioners interested in receiving a higher level of education.

Practitioners may pursue coursework leading to a CDA, CCP, Illinois Director’s Credential, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree in the field of early care and education.

General program requirements:

Work in child care center or licensed family child care home
Earn a predetermined maximum dollar amount per hour
Work 15 hours or more per week
Employer agrees to participate

The T.E.A.C.H. Project also rewards participants with a raise (from employer) or bonus upon successful completion of contracts.
