Quality Counts Grants
Child Care programs that are listed on the CCR&R provider/referral database and are currently providing legal child care in one of the following counties are eligible to submit a grant proposal: Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Mason, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Sangamon, or Scott. Programs may apply for facility improvement, professional resources, parent resources, or materials/equipment for children. All applicants are encouraged to attend the Bidder’s Conference to learn about state and local priorities and the grant writing process. Grant Applications available: January 2, 2008 on CCCC website, office, or by mail if requested Bidders' Conferences January 8, 2008 - Jacksonville Grants due: Applications are due to COMMUNITY CHILD CARE CONNECTION, INC. office by February 22, 2008 no later than 4:00PM. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applications must be received in office by day/time stated above. No postmarked applications will be accepted. Using the link below, download the application packet which includes the application and guidelines. The list of commonly asked questions included in the guidelines will assist you with completing your grant proposal and answer many of your questions regarding the grant program’s policies. To save the application packet to your own computer, right click on the link below and choose the "Save Link As..." option. Once saved to your local computer, you may complete the form at your leisure. For clarity and legibility proposes, it is recommended that you fill out the form on your computer and then print out the completed form, sign and date where necessary, and return to CCCC. However, please note that unless you have an advanced or professional version Adobe Acrobat, you will not be able to save your data into the form. In other words, if you start filling out the form and then close it before completing it and printing it out, you will lose your data.
