Due to the current budgetary uncertainty in our state, CCCC is making every effort to be conservative in our spending.
We have been forced to suspend several services and/or offer the same services through a different means. Please contact our office for more information.

COMMUNITY CHID CARE CONNECTION, INC.
SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT POLICIES

Many parents tell us that they are concerned with leaving their children with strangers.  CCCC does not monitor child care programs.  We cannot guarantee the quality of any of the programs you have requested.  Having a complaint policy allows us to direct families to the correct place when situations come up that point to abuse and neglect, fraud, or other major concerns.

A summary of our Complaint Policy follows:

  • When CCCC gets a complaint that points to abuse and neglect, fraud or another major concern, we will report it and recommend the concerned person report it to the correct group.
    • DCFS Abuse and Neglect Hotline 1-800-25-ABUSE
      DCFS Licensing 217-786-6830
  • When the complaint is a business policy issue, we will work with the parent and the provider to explain and resolve the issue themselves.
  • We do not have to keep a child care provider on our list.  We have a group that meets to decide what we should do when a complaint comes in. Sometimes the group may decide that the provider needs to be removed from our list.  We have rules that help us to make that decision, but we will do this quickly to be sure that all children are safe.  We then take them off of the list until the Department of Children and Family Services tells us 1) it is now safe for the children to come back or 2) that the provider needs to remain off the list until further notice.
  • CCCC will not give out information about any complaints unless it is someone from the investigating office.  If a person wants information on complaints about a provider, they can call the DCFS hotline.
    • DCFS Child Care Information Hotline 1-877-746-0829
  • CCCC keeps copies of all the complaints received and keeps them private.

CCCC tries hard to help families and providers in any way that we can.  If you have concerns about the service you received from our agency, please call us and talk to one of our supervisors at 1-800-676-2805.  We will do our best to assist you as quickly as possible.

If you would like more information about our complaint policy or the rules we follow when a person contacts us, please email us at: info@CCCConnect.org.
